Ultrascreen / September 21, 2011

Today we went for a ultra screen because it is apparently something you do for moms who are old, i.e., advanced maternal age.

Cooper looked wonderful. I could not believe the growth in the last three weeks since my other ultrasound. Cooper was kicking and moving his/her arms all around and putting his/her arms over the head. The pictures below show how much has changed in those few weeks. Cooper's heartrate was around 157

I am loving being pregnant. I am super tired still but the sickness part has passed for the most part. I am finally starting feel more like myself, only lighter. I have lost a total of 27 lbs now and continue to try and eat small, healthy portions on a regular basis. I feel better physically than i have in years.

We go next Wednesday to the doctor again and we will get the initial results from the ultrascreen. I cannot wait to get this little baby in my arms.

What a surprise

Cooper,

We found out we were pregnant on August 22nd and it was a surprise to say the least. We are happy you are on your way to us on April 7th.

Your Daddy and I love you so much and are thrilled about the miracle of
you. We did not think we would be blessed with a baby of our own, and you
came along at the perfect time for us. Timing is everything, always remember
that about God and how He does things in your life. His timing is always
perfect. So, your timing in our lives is perfect.
Today, you are the size of a lime. 10 weeks in, we are 1/4 way through this pregnancy
journey and my heart is overwhelmed with love for you already. Your big
brother and sister are so excited for you to get here. I am sure that you are
going to be spoiled beyond repair.

This is your first ultrasound picture that was taken at 8 weeks:

This is you at 10 weeks, the baby bump it becoming more clear

We go to the doctor in a few days and hopefully we will hear your little heart beating.

Love you,

Mama
